Sushma is an abstract artist, who lives in Scarsdale, New York. She considers herself a self-taught artist influenced by abstract designs and works with deep feelings, emotion and energy. Her paintings have large-scale dimensions with vibrant colors.

Growing up with an Indian background with rich culture and vibrant colors, it has a big influence on her color choices for her paintings. She uses color to undo form, to create emotion and touch the human soul. Creativity in all different ways connects us to who we really are. It is an expression of our inner being and our inner thoughts, feelings and ideas.
