Acrylic, stained glass remnants on canvas. Maple frame. 17.5 x 13.5. 2025

A multimedia work that has evolved gradually over time, shaped by repeated cycles of layering, obscuring, and re-emergence. The piece began as a collage of glass remnants embedded within thick layers of acrylic paint on a wood panel. These fragments, initially visible, were later buried deeper beneath successive layers of paint, becoming part of the work’s internal structure rather than its surface.

As the painting continued to develop, woven elements created with acrylic paint pens were introduced, forming a dense, interlaced surface that both conceals and reveals what lies beneath. Root-like lines and gridded patterns emerge across the composition, suggesting systems of growth, entanglement, and hidden connections. The tension between visibility and concealment, fragility and durability, reflects a process-driven exploration of time, memory, and accumulation, where meaning is not fixed, but built through layers.
