"Trapeze" is a wonderful Swirl series work. The Swirl series brings together everything I love—music, storytelling, pop culture, and personal memory. These works are bold, textured, and full of movement, inspired by everything from childhood doodles to favorite songs and places I’ve traveled with my family. Each piece begins with thick layers of oil or molding paste, applied in sweeping, swirling gestures. I carve into the surface with a palette knife—my favorite tool—then build color and form to shape a rhythm or story.
