I got a bit obsessed with panning while I was in the Camargue. Seeing and hearing the herd gallop through the water was such a big part of my experience there that I wanted to capture the action as best I could. Panning seemed like a good place to start.

When I saw this shot downloaded to the computer after the day’s shoot I knew I had something special. Shooting happened so fast in the field that I had no idea I had managed to capture three horses in perfect unison. It’s one of my favourites from my time there.
