Description
Acrylic on board. 16" x 21". Framed.
This painting began in a quiet place where I walked with my young son. I remember how everything was new to him. Now seventeen, his world expanding, my role quietly shifts.
As I worked on the layers of leaves, building depth, I noticed how forms and patterns surfaced, sometimes as intended, sometimes unexpectedly. I learned to accept what appeared, even when it wasn’t what I first imagined. Each element settled where it belonged. In the end, it holds a sense of change and trust, resembling the silent steps from walking beside my beautiful boy in his life and now watching it unfold.
