Gicle Photograph on Watercolor Paper, Ink and Pencil. 40 x 31.5 in.
The initial base is a girl print of my photograph on watercolor paper.
The second layer is drawn with white ink of individual squares and this layer is the most laborious of all the layers to create and takes multiple hours, days and often months to establish depending on the size of the piece. I also chose certain parts of the photo to leave pure to give another dimension to the piece.
The third layer is drawn with your basic #2 pencil over each square and or circle that was made on the second layer.
