Curator's Statement
What happens when two voices share a wall?
Wysocki paints in gestures—marks like handwriting, memory, weather. Reinhardt answers with restraint—fields of color softened at the edges. Side by side, their works feel like a conversation: full of pause and pulse, subtraction and excess.
Antoinette Wysocki
Her paintings indulge in material and gesture—spills, washes, and marks that collide until something new emerges. Words, symbols, and organic fragments surface, then dissolve again. Each canvas balances raw energy with deliberate control, a record of how memory resists being fixed.
Jenny Flexner Reinhardt
Jenny’s canvases breathe. Saturated hues hover against softened edges, carrying both weight and air. She explores what remains after subtraction—how much can be removed before a color still hums. With an MFA from the New York Academy of Art, Jenny now paints full-time in her New Jersey studio.

An exploration of memory, identity, and the people who shape us. Each artist approaches the theme from a deeply personal place: Handler turns his signature figuration toward family and loved ones; Wysocki mines the formative landscape of childhood through paintings and immersive installations; and Reinhardt asks what a portrait can be when no figure is present, finding the human trace in light, memory, and lived experience. Together, the works offer three distinct but resonant answers to the question of how we picture the people and the moments that define us. -

Working across watercolor/charcoal, photography, and oil, these three artists recalibrate our view of the ordinary and the elemental — from pantry objects and quiet interiors to intimate portraits of horses and fleeting gestures. This exhibition will celebrate their work as well as a founder's birthday. Musical guests Adam Holland and P.J. Griffith will add to the festivities. -
