Since 1805 we have been producing candles in our factory in Livorno, Tuscany. The passion for this craft, the knowledge and secrets have been handed down from father to son for seven generations and, combining with the most modern technologies and continuous experimentation, have given life to candles that represent the perfect fusion of chemistry, history and craftsmanship.
Witnesses of the strong link with our origins, Meloria candles take their name from one of the historical symbols of the city of Livorno, the Torre delle Meloria.

They are characterized by the extremely glossy finish handmade by our artisans who, through ancient techniques, are able to create a modern and avant-garde product.
Each candle is first colored by immersing it in a bath of special matte wax. After at least 24 hours, the candle is immersed again, but this time in a natural cellulose-based paint which, unlike industrial ones that allow packaging in just 20 minutes, takes up to 6 days to dry completely. We never use ovens that can speed up this process, on the contrary, we believe that slow and natural drying guarantees an excellent yield.
