Into Bloom is the result of what happens when we allow artistic intention to surrender to the organic shifting of the medium. Created by pouring high-flow paint onto a flat surface, the work took shape through periodic tilting of the canvas—a process that allowed certain passages to dry as the deep, dark veining "stems," while others remained fluid, migrating to form the uninhibited "leaves" of the bloom. This technique results in a powerful, floral-like eruption that feels both deliberate and wildly natural.
