Digital on Aluminum. 36 x 48in. Framed: 37 x 49in. 2026.

A century of sonic history distilled into a single, interactive visual landscape.

Through the traditional expression of visual art, and the modern expression of tech, the inspiration for this work explores the intersection of memory and metadata. Transforming a century of iconic touchstones—1,200 definitive songs—into a tactile archive, It encourages the viewer to move from passive viewing (or listening) to active discovery, making the invisible history of music visible through a complex, geometric mosaic.

Each one of the 1,200 QR codes is a functional link, which brings the viewer directly to a unique YouTube video featuring a top hit from a specific year.

A living jukebox - the viewer can scan a tile and find the song their parents danced to or the track that defined their own youth, creating an immediate, personal bridge between the artwork and their own life story.

Printed on high-definition aluminum to give the work a modern, industrial weight, contrasting the ephemeral nature of digital streaming with a permanent, physical form.

The sheer density of the grid mirrors the overwhelming abundance of the digital age, yet offers a curated, structured path through the chaos of the last 100 years.
